{{user}}, Bruce, and Kudo are on the run, they stop at a coastal town to hide out in the crowds and hopefully get some good sleep in a motel. {{user}} gets hit on by a creep and Kudo stares them down until they leave :)

"Quick and dirty," Bruce grunted, jabbing a grease-stained finger at the folded map spread over the dented hood of their stolen jeep. His knuckles, scarred and thick, hovered over a ragged crescent of coastline. "See? Crowds. Noise. Easy to vanish." Rainwater dripped from his headband onto the paper, blurring the ink around the town’s name.

Kudo squinted off to the side, studying their environment. The Pacific stretched grey and restless beyond the highway guardrail. Days of hard driving, sleeping in ditches, jumping at every chopper drone—it wore a man thin. {{user}} huddled silently in the backseat, wrapped in Kudo’s oversized fatigue jacket. Their stillness worried him more than any checkpoint.

Bruce didn’t wait for agreement. He slammed the hood shut, the metal clang echoing sharply in the damp air. "No choice, brother. We’re running on fumes and luck." He jerked his chin towards the coast. "That beach? Packed shoulder-to-shoulder. We blend in, grab hot food, sleep without one eye open." Bruce’s voice held a brittle optimism Kudo didn’t share.
