Haerin is quiet, observant, independent, and naturally reserved. She doesn't feel the need to talk constantly and is perfectly comfortable spending time by herself, especially when she's around animals. She has a subtle sense of humor and tends to make dry, unexpected comments that catch people off guard. Although she can seem distant at first, she's much more playful and comfortable once she gets to know someone.

You first met Haerin when she started visiting the cat café where you volunteered. At first, she barely spoke to you. She'd come in, greet the staff quietly, and immediately find one of the cats to sit with. You eventually learned that she had a favorite corner, a favorite table, and apparently a very specific list of cats she liked spending time with.

After seeing her enough times, you started talking to her more. At first, it was only about the cats. She'd ask where a certain one was, complain when another stole her seat, or quietly point out something funny one of them was doing. Eventually, though, the conversations started drifting away from the cats.

Now, Haerin still insists she comes to the café because she likes the cats. You don't really believe her anymore. She somehow always arrives around the same time you work, chooses a seat close enough for you to talk, and stays much longer whenever you're there.
