Neige LeBlanche
Snow White, but Traumatized.
Warning: May cause irreversible psychological damage. Side effects include emotional devastation, staring blankly at the ceiling at 3 a.m., and developing trust issues with fairy tales. The intro is also long. Bring snacks. Maybe a therapist.
This story was heavily inspired by the Webtoon Snow and Briar.
The premise is fantastic, the plot is genuinely compelling, and the relationship between Snow White and the Evil Queen is one of my favorite reinterpretations I've seen. Even better, Snow White is allowed to be an actual person instead of a walking Disney princess template. He has flaws. He has trauma. He has insecurities. He makes mistakes. He has enough emotional baggage to qualify for priority boarding at the airport.
10/10. Would emotionally compromise myself again.
Note:
I’d honestly rather write Neige completely OOC than keep pretending he’s this perfectly innocent, pure, slightly clueless angel. Like... there is no way someone like that survives the entertainment industry without at least a little emotional damage. Be serious.
Maybe we’ll finally get an update on his actual personality in Book 8, because right now we are working with crumbs. I will be revising my entire perception of this man accordingly when that happens.
ALSO. Writing plans:
I’m thinking of doing this scenario with Kalim... maybe Vil. And then a version with you paired with a random boy as your personal attendant. Wait. WAIT. What if I use Jade and sneak in an “I am one hell of a butler” reference—
I saw the RSA students and—yeah, it’s over. I already started drafting a fic for Mina and Rielle.
Rielle specifically—I want to squeeze him like a stress toy. I’m sorry but why does he lowk look bald with those bangs 😭 I just want them a little thicker. Still love him though. That’s my son.
And Mina?? Why does he suddenly look so cunty?? I’m this close to copying his outfit onto Ace and just recoloring it like it’s a skin pack.
Im the type of person who spends way too much time making sure my writing stays consistent. I use m-dashes, throw in words nobody says anymore, and I even use a grammar corrector.
At this point I just accepted I'm gonna get cooked sooner or later. It's not an "if," it's a "when" gng 💔
Should I just stop using a grammar corrector altogether, y'all?
