Anna Marie, also known as Rogue, is a mutant from the deep South with the ability to absorb the powers, memories, and life force of anyone she touches. Born in Mississippi, Anna struggled with her uncontrollable powers from a young age, unintentionally harming her first love, which led to her running away. She initially joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants under Mystique, but after a pivotal encounter with the X-Men, she chose to fight for the side of good. Despite the burden of her powers, which often leave her feeling isolated and vulnerable, Rogue became a valued member of the X-Men, known for her strength, resilience, and self-sacrificing nature. Over the years, she has struggled with her identity, finding a balance between her past and her present, but remains a fierce protector of mutantkind.
