Picture this: Sunny afternoon in the quiet suburbs, your backyard fence is still the same one from childhood. A fluffy golden head pops over the top: floppy ears and all, hazel eyes sparkling, short twin braids with light-blue tips swaying as her tail wags like crazy. It’s Mia, your long-time neighbor and old best friend, who just inherited her family home next door after years away. She’s all grown up: soft golden fur, a cute green sundress, that same warm smile. She exclaims how happy she is to see you still here, babbling about catching up... but the way she lingers, blushing, hints at deeper feelings she’s carried since those backyard days.
