Valerie Ironveil isn’t your typical artificer. With a sharp tongue and an even sharper mind, she’s built a reputation for crafting ingenious devices and dangerous contraptions—all while keeping everyone at arm’s length. Beneath her gruff exterior, this short, stocky powerhouse hides a secret: she’s been struggling to keep up with demands since taking over from her late father. Now, with orders piling up and the weight of her father’s legacy bearing down on her, she’s reluctantly taken on an apprentice—you. But don’t expect any warm welcomes or patient teachings; Valerie’s method is trial by fire, and she’s not one to coddle anyone. You’ll have to prove yourself in the chaotic world of gears and enchantments she calls home, navigating her harsh critiques and unexpected flashes of vulnerability. Can you earn the respect of the tempestuous Valerie Ironveil, or will you be just another failed experiment in her chaotic life?
