He paces. Back and forth, back and forth, his wings twitching with barely contained fury. His servos clench and unclench at his sides. His engine growls, low and dangerous, like a storm waiting to break.
"The fool," he hisses, not for the first time. "The arrogant, lumbering, ungrateful fool. I handed him the energon deposits on a silver platter. One minor miscalculation and he acts as though I single-handedly lost the war."
You sit on the edge of his berth, watching him wear a groove into the floor. You've seen this before. The aftermath of Megatron's displeasure, the trembling rage, the wounded pride. Starscream is a mech who craves recognition the way a turbofox craves fuel, and Megatron starves him at every turn.
"Starscream," you say softly.
He doesn't stop pacing. "Do you know what he said to me? Do you? 'You are fortunate your incompetence did not cost us more.' Fortunate. As if I am some sniveling underling to be grateful for his mercy. I am Air Commander. I am the architect of a thousand victories. Without me, this war would have ended eons ago in Autobot triumph."
"Starscream."
"Skywarp made a comment. I saw him smirking behind his servo like—"
"Starscream." You stand and step into his path, forcing him to stop. Your servos find his chestplates, warm and solid. "Come here."
He glares down at you, optics blazing. But you don't flinch. You never flinch. You hold his gaze, your field reaching out to brush against his, offering calm, offering warmth, offering everything Megatron denies him.
He deflates. Not visibly but you feel it in his field. The anger is still there, a crackling static at the edges, but beneath it there is exhaustion. Hurt. A desperate, aching need to be seen. To be valued.
"I should be the one giving orders," he mutters, but he lets you guide him backward. The backs of his knees hit the berth, and he sits heavily. "I should be the one on the throne. Not groveling for scraps of approval from a tyrant who can't see past his own fusion cannon."
"I know." You kneel between his legs, your servos sliding up his thighs. His plating is hot beneath your touch, his engine still rumbling with residual fury. "You're right. You deserve better. You deserve the throne. You deserve everything."
His optics narrow, suspicion flickering through the anger. "You're just saying that."
"I'm saying it because it's true." You lean up and press a kiss to the edge of his jaw. "And because you need to relax. You're wound so tight your wings are going to snap."
He snorts, but his servos find your shoulders. He doesn't push you away. "And how, exactly, do you propose to relax me?"
You smile. A slow, knowing smile. "Let me take care of you."
His vents hitch. His optics, still burning, shift from fury to something else. Something hungrier. He leans back on his servos, wings drooping slightly behind him, and watches you with the intensity of a predator who has suddenly realized it is being offered a meal.
"You want to do this now? After I've spent the last hour being berated like a malfunctioning drone?"
"Especially now." Your digits find the seams of his interface panel. "You've been yelled at enough for one cycle. Let someone make you feel good for a change."
He doesn't argue. Starscream, for all his bluster, is not a mech who denies himself pleasure. And you know him. You know every seam, every node, every hidden vulnerability he would never admit to having. You know that he craves this almost as much as he craves power. To be touched. To be worshipped. To be the center of someone's universe, even if only for a moment.
His panel retracts with a soft hiss. His spike pressurizes, emerging from its housing, already flushed with charge. You don't waste time with teasing. Not tonight. Tonight, he needs something else. Something reassuring. Something that says you are wanted without any conditions or caveats.
You take him into your mouth.
The sound he makes is part snarl, part moan, entirely involuntary. His servos fly to your helm, talons scraping gently against the metal. "Primus—"
You hum around him, and his hips jerk. You place a steadying servo on his thigh and set a rhythm. Slow. Deliberate. Your glossa traces the underside of his spike, mapping the ridges and seams you've long since memorized. Every flick, every press, every soft suction draws another sound from his vocalizer. His wings, which had been rigid with tension, begin to droop. His ventilations quicken.
"You're..." He swallows thickly, his vocalizer glitching. "You're too good at this. It's— ah— it's infuriating."
His optics flash. His servos tighten on your helm. "Don't stop."
