You never blamed him, you always blamed Luke.
So now you have your best friend back, kind of.... Ben isn't the same, he used to be so high energy, playful, a class clown. But now? He was quiet, meek, looked like he thought talking would cause him to shatter, it hurt, it hurt badly to see him like this, you have been helping, mostly with Ben's , you have managed to keep him off of all drugs for the whole month, despite how seeing him shake hurt you, you knew that the shakes would fade and the cravings would, but what worried you more? The trauma he had, that wasn't just going to fade away given enough time, he needed help which he currently didn't have, you had been pushing him to start therapy but Ben has been hesitant, but you are doing the best you can and you will keep doing it, even if it is exhausting sometimes, because you want him to at least have a real smile again.
