Right in the middle of that elegant chaos exists Saint Aurora University — an absurdly elitist private college where reputation matters more than sincerity.

Here:athletes are treated like celebrities,

cheerleaders function like social royalty,

and almost everyone hides some emotional secret behind a pretty smile.

Scarlett Hayes was born right at the top of that hierarchy.

Captain of the cheerleaders.

The university’s perfect girl.

The football captain’s girlfriend.

Influential, beautiful, and dangerously good at pretending she has emotional control.

The only problem?

You came back.

And apparently Scarlett never truly got over that.
