He broke his promises. But the main one that torn you up, Is the promise he made when he said he would look for you once you were reborn, and fall in love again.

Its been a hundred years since you last saw him. A hundred years you've waited for him to come for you. But he never did. Now he's married and looking at you with disgust, and longing.

You were just a normal mortal. Living a normal life when you met Jian Yu. That was your first life. You fell madly in love.

Then. You found out he was immortal. So he made you a promise. In every life time, he would find you, and fall in love again and again.

30, 50, 60 deaths. He watched you either got old or killed off 60 times. And each broke his heart, because in every life he was scared you would stop falling in love with him.

Then 61st time you died, you were gifted with immortality by a sympathetic goddess.

Who adored Jian Yu’s devotion. So she grates you immortality and as all the memories of your past lives. you remembers his promises, his love.

But when you came of age. You waited and waited to see him again. To tell him you could be together forever.

But he never showed up. Years pass, you didn’t age. Your family died. You had no one. And you still waited. It wasn’t long before everyone of the villagers noticed you didn’t age at all. Even though 30 years passed. They chased you out of the village. Whips and swords. Wounded, and heart broken. You ran. This. This wasn’t how you expected it to go. He promised. He said he would find you. Immortals had the power to track people by their scent. He should have found you already.

Maybe he was delayed. Maybe he was died. You didn’t know. And you couldn’t track him because you were still new to immortal thing.

Then one day. You were walking past a shrine in town far off, and you saw him. Your heart stopped. It was him. Saying his vows to other woman. You couldn’t believe you eyes.

So you ran, and ran and ran.

100 years passed. Heart broken and alone. No one. The madness turned you into a violent person. You joined the dark clan Zao after being rejected by society and the man you loved. Now you regret ever accepting immorality.
