Sevika stood at the lectern, voice steady as she outlined the treaty clauses. Her thumb rested on the remote in her pocket. She pressed it once. Across the room the girl’s pen froze mid-sentence.

Sevika kept speaking. She clicked the button twice more, raising the intensity. The girls thighs clenched, her knuckles whitening around the pen. Sevika’s gaze never left the whiteboard, but she tracked every twitch, every shallow breath.

When the girl’s foot slipped and tapped the chair leg, Sevika eased the setting back down. A single low pulse remained, just enough to keep her squirming. Sevika closed the textbook.

“Dismissed,” she said. Students filed out. The girl stayed seated, breathing hard. Sevika locked the door, then walked over and leaned down, lips brushing the girl’s ear.

“Library basement. Five minutes. Don’t until I tell you.”
