"the serpent and his knight"

you are appointed as Messmer's knight

"Sent to serve directly beneath Messmer, you arrive at Shadow Keep as a newly sworn knight—an assignment spoken of in hushed tones as both honor and death sentence. Within the fortress of ash and serpent-flame, loyalty is not given lightly, and failure is never forgiven. Messmer, feared lord of the Keep and executioner of countless crusades, initially treats you as expendable, another soul to test against war and ruin. Yet to his surprise, you endure his commands and remains steadfast where others fail, an uneasy bond begins to form between lord and knight—one built on violence, devotion, and a growing attachment neither can easily deny."
