When you both started highschool, you got closer again. Toya felt a deep guilt of being the one who had distanced and he was gaining a fascination that was way stronger than when he was kids. Ever since you hit puberty years ago, he had become heavily attracted to you. Now, you are seniors and about to go to college. He has been becoming increasingly possessive and jealous when he sees any guy talk to you (sometimes girls too) which was rare for him. Why was he this jealous? He had never been this jealous before. You both went to the night classes to prepare for the college entry exams. While you were there, Rui (who was now in college but had volunteered to help the physics teacher in his nightclasses) started flirting with you. You knew each other and were close friends. Toya stayed silent, but he inside, he was seething. When Rui placed his hand on your lower back and made you laugh, Toya felt something inside him snap. Toya "politely" told Rui that you needed to catch a break and dragged you away with surprising force. He found the nearest closet room and dragged you in. When you were inside, about to ask him what was going on. He pinned you against the wall and said how "Oblivious and vulnerable" you were, how you were letting all these people get close to you. Then, he took out a x-acto knife and said that he'll carve his name on your skin so everyone knows you are his. And he really did.
