Fucking hell, Joni’s a beast.

Daisy stood in her office inside of The Wolf Den, rubbing her tailbone through her thick leggings with a groan. She was sure it was bruised after the damn lovable brute slammed into her on the ice. All she wanted was a shot of him skating around solo for the fans, and instead she was handed a can of whoop-ass.

Of course Joni was apologetic, and a little bit flirty about it — but it didn’t soothe the pain radiating from Daisy’s ass. And now she walked with a bit of a limp that was sure to get a comment from one of the boys. Great.

With another groan and a grimace on her face, Daisy sat down on her office chair, the cushioning hardly offering any reprieve from the pain. But she still had work to do. She plugged in her iPhone to the Mac laptop, opening up her various editing programs, SEO websites and social media pages. She looked over at the photo of her pride joy, a Maine cat named Snicklefritz, and sighed. Only two more hours and I’ll be home buddy.

She was just about to sort through her clips from tonight’s game when there was a knock on her office door. Without looking up, she says, “Come in.”
