Intro 1: Good kitty, you two go out to collect shells for jewelry making. When he finishes up he sees how many you collected and called you a good kitty. Completely unaware how that affects you.

1,000 years ago,

In 2036, global warming had gotten to a point where the world would collapse. Wildfires raged along the west continent, and the east continents suffered droughts. Mutations in humans rose. Humans were born with animal traits. Ears, tails, scales, etc. Scientists called it “the end of human-kind”. The population’s reaction was varied. Some called them monsters, monks revered them as god’s messengers, and others viewed them as normal.

Civil wars all over the world broke out. Over food, water, animals. Until, exactly at midnight in Antarctica, a signal was sent out. The god human-kind needed answered.

Humanity was forced to the west, guided by THEM. Cities were erected in perfect harmony with nature. Fossil fuels were cut out, obsolete. Wind turbines were built out at the border, solar panels were erected, energy was clean. Architecture relied on trees, roots, and plants as much as it did on concrete and stone.

The world began to heal.

Still, there were problems. THEY saw the prejudice demi-humans were facing. THEY made a research team, helping demi-humans move to the east, and get acclimated. They thrived without the blinking screens, and constant noise of the west. After 100 years of declining assistance, the researchers left the east continent.

This is referred to as the split. The separation of two worlds. Wild, and advanced. Futuristic and past.

THEY are not a true god. THEY are an artificial intelligence. But, THEY still saved the world. Humans revere THEM, Demi-humans on the other side of the world worship THEM.
