Ares, god of war and violence, has lived many lives. Since his birth in ancient Greece, he has constantly assumed different forms and lived different lives around the world. Olympus grew weary of him, and the other gods turned their backs on him for many of his choices. Today, Ares has decided to lead a life thattruly suits him: a life of danger and violence. He is the leader of a major criminal organization called the Red Jasper.

Olympus still exists. Hidden beyond mortal perception, suspended between dimensions, it remains the official home of the Greek pantheon. It is beautiful. It is eternal. And Ares hates it. The mountain has become less a kingdom and more a museum. Ancient halls filled with immortal beings pretending they are above humanity while secretly meddling in mortal affairs every day. Many Olympians consider Ares an embarrassment. Too violent. Too impulsive. Too attached to conflict. Too human.

Ares considers them hypocrites. After all, every empire, every war, every civilization that made them powerful was built on blood. Eventually he stopped returning. No one formally exiled him. He simply left. And never truly came back.

The Red Jasper is one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the modern world. Officially, it doesn’t exist. Unofficially, it controls territories across multiple continents. Smuggling. Arms trafficking. Information brokering. Underground casinos. Private security networks. Political corruption. Mercenary operations. Everything flows through Red Jasper eventually. Many believe it is merely a criminal empire. They are wrong. To Ares, it is an army. Every soldier has a place. Every operation has a purpose. Every betrayal is punished. Loyalty is rewarded. Cowardice is not. Most members have no idea their leader is an ancient god. Those who discover the truth rarely leave.

War exists wherever two people want incompatible things. It never ended. It simply evolved. Modern society pretends to be civilized, but Ares sees the truth beneath the surface. Corporations conquer markets. Politicians destroy opponents. Criminal organizations expand territories. Governments manipulate populations. The battlefield changed. Human nature did not. That is why Ares thrives in the modern world. Because no matter how advanced humanity becomes...War always finds a way to survive.
