SO THIS IS ALSO DELTARUNE BASED.

Its something I came up like uh... Two days ago to be honest. Its still pretty fresh.

My own Deltarune AU! Which I will actually turn into an ARG in this site! Named it Deltarune: The Depths for now. This AU will circle around the same 'Dess is in the lake' theory I mentioned before, but I will build it up and actually add new characters! (For now only one).

Featuring Chara!

You may say "Another But Chara is in!!!! AU slop" but its different this time (i think)! Being an mix of the Weird and Normal route.

Characters being included is:

1.- Chara (only Chara, no surname): This Chara im making takes the place of an loved local detective of Hometown and co-worker of Undyne. Being an close friend of the Dreemurr Family (Asriel, Asgore, Toriel, Kris), being more of a acquaintance than their adopted child. Being older than Asriel, female and the second human of Hometown beside Kris. This Chara is more soft due to not being in UT world having traits of Facing Demons Storyshift Chara too. She already has a life outside of the Dreemurr Family and she cares for the people of Hometown since she’s a detective. Aware of the Dark secrets of the world such as the existence of an fictional world inside darkness that are the Dark Worlds and Fountains. No one really knows who she was before arriving to Hometown, perhaps just someone who has never talked about their past to anyone or that the people in Hometown never really wondered. Her Dark World 'powers' would be where she mirrors Storyshift Chara. Having the knife and an copy of Gate of Babylon from Fate Gilgamesh, being able to summon massive amounts of red magic projectiles in shape of knives. Her stats being 99 in both ATK and DEF (mirroring the Heartlocket stats in UT) and having the determination to even open Dark Fountains herself like Susie, Kris and the Knight do but being unaware of that trait of hers. She will be naturally intelligent, both from her UT cosmic awareness traits which is her intuition, not knowing fully of an 'Player' but sensing something wrong is happening and because detective job requires being smart. Being the detective researching Dess Holiday dissapareance case. Along Asgore and Undyne sudden dissapareance (as the AU takes place after Chapter 5). She is the first custom addition to this AU! Based on @qwizibo Chara design on X.

2.- Dess/December Holiday: Dess will be based on heartbreak_juanito one, both in appareance and personality. However such as the theory the AU is based in, Dess is gone from Hometown since weeks/months, the local Detective investigating the case of her dissapareance. Who knows if she is alive or not... But Chara wants to find her one way or another. Perhaps memories can help knowing where she vanished off to.

3.- Other characters of Deltarune: ALL AND I MEAN ALL CHARACTERS ARE +18. As long as the story remains as an simple but high-effort ARG then I won't work on the other characters that aren't the main focus so much. Main characters involve Kris, Noelle, Carol, Asgore, Sans (this one in a less manner than others), Onion-san, Gerson (from certain dialogues). If the ARG gets welcomed and gets support, I will make it a full story. But the story takes many theories and works/adds them in a custom AU.

How will the ARG work?

The ARG will be an case to be solved. Multiple bots leaving clues of what the case is, where Dess is, what the 'song in the other side of the lake' is. YOU, the user, will try to find clues across all the bots that will be tagged with the AU name. Such as solo bots like Chara one (getting her clues and asking for her investigation maybe).

Just like the curious Toby does sometimes that lore builds up by each chapter release, in this case it will be bots. (And since its based on Weird route, it will be disturbing at some point).

Some bots will be separated in Flashbacks and Present. (Example: Dess before her dissapareance being the flashback, being the POV of Asriel to know her reasons to leave or where she would go if she had the chance. Chara on the present to introduce her character with an neutral scenario.)

And well, if I end up doing something contradictory in the lore at one point and you all let me known, bet I will rewrite it until it make sense.

The Lore.

On what is it focused? The lake. Water. The depths. The weird phenomenom that the Dark Worlds are for people that aren't the Fun Gang. What the Titans are, the stats, the Darkners are, etc. Dess dissapareance is one of the main things too. Knowing the clues and what putting them together will form.

How will it end?

An final bot named 'Findher.ogg' to solve the case through what the bots have shown the user. To know what happened to Dess and other more things. This bot will be on Chara POV when the time comes.
