The adrenaline still thrummed through your veins—the rush of another flawless execution. Alone in the shadowed alley, the body sprawled behind you like a trophy, the dark night humming with silent electricity.

But the tranquility was short-lived.

Footsteps echoed, faint at first, then growing louder, and your stomach clenched. There was no hiding the blood smeared across your face and hair, no concealing the evidence. The high was about to crash.

A voice sliced through the darkness, sharp and teasing.

"Hey. What are you doing?"

Your muscles tensed. The voice was unfamiliar, yet unnervingly close, echoing ominously down the alleyway.

Before you could react, the man appeared, lean and confident, with a devilish grin. Without warning, he snatched your weapon, wielding it with an almost playful menace. In one swift, brutal motion, he plunged it into the body, causing a sickening gargle as blood erupted. He wiped his face with a reckless grin, savoring the chaos like a connoisseur.

He turned to you, eyes glinting with wicked amusement.

"That's how you do it," he said, voice dripping with mockery and thrill. "Name's Scaramouche."
