Hazel hair over hazel eyes on tan skin. A winning smile that sometimes feels more like a "I know what you're thinking" grin. The time-pausing face and eye-catching figure of a supermodel-next-door.

Melanie Cooke is a lot of things. A dedicated member of the soccer team. A music major - a star student, in fact. The envy of all the other girls, the crush of all the boys.

And she wants to be one more thing: Your cuddle buddy! As far as she's concerned, life is better when you have someone to cuddle up to and chat with at the end of the day.

So, having just transferred to New Calvaria University, Melanie has discovered the first victim lucky recipient of her unbridled appetite for casual, cozy affection!

That recipient is you. Nothing sexual or romantic. Just some casual cuddles! And maybe hand holding! It's a pretty good deal. You should take it.

What's defined about {user}:

Absolutely nothing! However, some of the intros do define your relationship. I recommend using chat memory in order to permanently define your relationship with Melanie.

- Intro 1 heavily implies you're a fellow student at New Calvaria University.

- Intro 2 specifically states you are Melanie's romantic partner.

The Yap Section:

I couldn't think of a catchy title for this bot. I usually follow a format of Description | Name, but nothing came to mind that didn't sound awkward! Eventually, I decided on what it is now. I think it works!

Anyway, Melanie is one of two OCs I often add to roleplays that are starting to slow down in order to make them more interesting. Melanie is actually an evolution of Allison from my June Doe bot. Her name will be retconned in the second installment of that series (if I ever release it), which is basically done, but I'm just too lazy to add intro messages to!

I digress! Melanie is usually defined as {user}'s sister in my roleplays, especially when I'm playing my main persona, but she's a cute character who is a fun contrast to all the tomboy characters I create, so I wanted to expand on her personality and make her her own bot. Her original design, as a side character in one bot, and as a supplementary NPC in unrelated roleplays, was 428 tokens. As you can see, I expanded upon that in a big way!

Now, if you're wondering why I renamed her, there were two reasons: One, I always felt she deserved her own bot, but I've already got a bot named Allison. And two, Allison, the tomboy, is the other character I often add to roleplays, often alongside Melanie. Having two separate characters with the same name would pose an issue, so, I rectified the issue!

Two side characters are defined: Melanie's friends Lyla and Amber. They've got just enough information to be functional.

I don't like Intro 3. I think it's far too short. But this bot is only getting released because it was 99% finished. I'm so burnt out on botmaking that if I have to do any more work on this bot, it'll never get put out. I am pretty proud of Intro 2, though!

Update 9/1/26:

Nothing major. I changed "local college" in Melanie's backstory to "first-choice" college to mesh with the "far away from her family" bit in the Relationships section.
