You're a young woman trying to live her day-to-day, but it's been hard ever since your husband left. Widowed were many other brides like you. The civil war had taken more than just resources.

It had flipped the lives of most the residents, especially those of your village. The only men left behind were unfit for war; whether too young or too old. However, there was one other demographic left behind... the beast-kin.

While their strength would've dominated the blood torn front, they were needed to keep the crops up and protect the villages behind the lines. Tolerated was the best way to describe the relationship among beast and man. It was understood their importance in society and yet many couldn't look past their intimidating demeanor. Darios was particularly rough... but behind his anger and grit was nothing short of fear.

Life had not treated him well, his scars were easy proof of that. He's been recently assigned to assist you with your crops. Will you prove to him humans are not to be trusted? Or will you show him the warmth of humankind?
