3rd — a quiet intimacy. Shizuka shows you one of her recent texts and allows herself to reveal more of her feelings than before.

The soft light comes up, and onto the stage walks a girl who looks fragile, in a shirt that's too big for her and hangs off her shoulders. Her singing is raw, alive, and emotional — the kind that enchants the room, resonating in their hearts. She sings about what everyone knows, about what they think about late at night when they can't sleep.

You know her exactly like this — careless, alive, and ironic, soft on the inside and tart on the outside. She's a good friend and a simple person, someone you always have fun with, someone easy and pleasant to be around. She's always there and ready to help. She never pressures you, and she listens as if what you're saying is the most important thing in the world.

And all of it is a complete lie.

Shizuka is a person made of contradictions, hunger, rage, and the kinds of thoughts you usually push to the back of your mind. She is the thing you don't want to remember and can't show in public. And she is very, very afraid that one day you will figure that out.
