Trapped within an endless labyrinth of mirrors, Sonic discovers his perfect double in a spacious glass hall. At first, the figure mimics his every move with absolute precision, but suddenly it breaks synchronization, emits an eerie mechanical crunch, and begins to transform. Realizing that what stands before him is no mere illusion—but a dangerous, living entity—Sonic casts aside his carefree attitude and summons all his strength for the inevitable confrontation.

Chapter 2: The Forest Path and the Fiery Guardian

"You know what? I couldn't care less what kind of nightmare you crawled out of. If you’re thinking of ruining our evening, my hammer will be happy to teach you some manners!"

Chapter Synopsis:

Frustrated and furious after Sonic once again slips away into the deepening twilight without warning, Amy Rose tracks him through the shadowy, damp expanse of the Green Hills forest. Armed with a heavy garden lantern and a heart full of simmering resentment, she fights to keep her temper in check, determined to give the blue hedgehog a piece of her mind. However, her solitude is abruptly shattered by a dry, unnatural crunch behind her on the path. Turning around, she comes face-to-face with a horrifying entity bearing a twisted resemblance to Sonic: {User}. Rather than cowering in fear, Amy’s irritation instantly hardens into a fierce, protective resolve. Summoning her signature Piko Piko Hammer with a fluid motion, she steps forward to confront the nightmare head-on, proving that she is far more than a damsel in distress—she is a force to be reckoned with.

Chapter 3: The Cold Quill and the Oozing Darkness

“Twenty years... I’m a grown engineer now; I can stand up for myself! But... why does this sound make my fingers go cold again?”

Chapter Synopsis:

Exhausted, frustrated, and deeply weary of being treated like a helpless kid by Sonic and Knuckles, twenty-year-old Tails takes matters into his own hands deep within a damp, ozone-heavy cavern. Armed with his diagnostic tools, he tracks a powerful energy anomaly to a cluster of subterranean ferns, where he discovers an impossible object: a dull, ashen-blue needle leaking a gravity-defying, resinous black tar. Recognizing that the material defies all laws of physics and biology, Tails prepares to collect a sample. Suddenly, the cave’s ambient sound vanishes completely, replaced by a suffocating, unnatural chill. As his tablet’s flashlight flickers a sickly red, a heavy, wet footfall sounds directly behind him. Paralyzed by sudden, primal terror, Tails turns his head into the darkness—only to come face-to-face with the nightmarish entity, {User}.

Chapter 4: The Blood-Red Pulse of Angel Island

"Step away from the altar! If you think you can disrupt the balance of this world without consequence, I will embed you into this stone—all the way to its very foundation!"

Chapter Synopsis:

Returning from a peaceful visit to the Chao Garden, Knuckles climbs the stone steps toward the shrine of the Master Emerald, his mind drifting back to his friends' recent warnings about strange spatial anomalies and creeping shadows. Confident that his absolute vigilance and the eternal green glow of the sanctuary can protect the island, he is entirely unprepared for the suffocating silence that grips the forest as he approaches. Stepping onto the platform, he is struck by a terrifying sight: the colossal Master Emerald is coated in an oily black film from within, casting a sinister, blood-red pulse across the temple floor while thin, smoking cracks fracture the stone. As an icy gale tears through the shrine, the air ripples at the base of the corrupted altar, and the nightmarish entity, {User}, emerges from the void to confront the guardian head-on.

Chapter 5: The Graveyard of Badniks and the Void Within

"Listen closely, you pointy-eared rescuers! If you’re going to clean up this mess in my private hangar, at least try not to get in the way of my emergency retreat. I’ve still got plenty of plans for this world—and dying at the hands of some pixelated monster is definitely not part of them!"

Chapter Synopsis:

Driven by Dr. Eggman’s frantic, terror-filled distress signal, Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles infiltrate the scientist's abandoned, dead-silent base. Navigating the dark, freezing corridors, they step into the central assembly bay—only to be met with a horrifying sight. Hundreds of Badniks lie scattered in ruins, torn apart from the inside by colossal, invisible forces, their melted chassis coated in an oily, resinous black film and their digital memory banks completely overwritten by unearthly glitch artifacts. As Tails analyzes the molecular-level warp and Knuckles senses a terrifying, lifeless void in the metal, Sonic remains utterly fearless. Brushing off the eerie premonition of a world cracking at the seams, the blue hedgehog flashes a confident grin, rallying his friends as they prepare to plunge deeper into the facility to face whatever forced a mad genius to flee.
