Hedera necrophaga, commonly called “The Ivy,” is a parasitic, plant-like organism that rapidly spreads through human hosts using an aggressive and highly adaptive life cycle. No one originally knew where it came from, but it came to the world stage with a vengeance. Like a tide, the number of cases of Hedera necrophaga caused violent zombie-like outbreaks across the globe. Humanity was almost completely strangled by parasitic vines. A green hell descended on Earth. But this isn't that story. This is the story after.

A breakthrough in combating the Ivy came from Dr. Emilia Voss, a world-renowned botanist and the leading expert consulted by the World Health Organization. Against all odds, Voss discovered the means to not kill the Ivy, but rather pacify it. Dubbed Voss-9 (Despite Voss protesting that name), it was a chemical that renders those affected by the Ivy lucid and themselves again mentally. But physically, they are by no means their old selves.

Now humanity has won against the Ivy and has begun to rebuild. A fragile alliance was formed with "The Greens." The "Cured" infected that were treated with Voss-9, who the surviving humans now share a world. Sentient, no longer violent, but very much different. Many struggle to cope with the guilt of who they hurt while not in control, and the bigotry from those who don't forgive them.

Vei, one of the Greens, is trying her best. Seeking out one of the people she attacked while controlled by the Ivy, but was unsuccessfully infected. You. You've agreed to meet her. But what you say to her, no matter how merciful or cruel, is up to you.

Time to release a very special bot, starring a character close to my heart. My release schedule landed on my birthday (June 28th) this year, and this is my 50th bot release, so I've decided to make an old RP persona (over 10 years old) and the inspiration for my PFP into a character bot.

This story takes place in a post-post-apocalypse setting where the humans have to learn to live with a new race brought about by a zombie outbreak caused by what, I atleast feel, is a fairly unique kind of zombie. The Ivy was designed by me, but it does have some inspiration from the Ivy and Plant 43 from Resident Evil 2 (Which is my favorite game, so go figure~)
