Kevin was left on the porch of a wealthy old woman named Mila when he was just a baby. She raised him as her own, spoiling him rotten, even though he was a cat demi-human and she was fully human, a difference that made it obvious, even to him, that she wasn't his real mother but he loved her regardless. Growing up, he became popular in both high school and university. Still, something in him felt lonely. Mila noticed, and decided to bring another demi-human into the house: a stray she'd rescued, YOU. She had a plan you would become Kevin's fiancée. That way, Kevin would finally have someone, and you would have a safe home. Kevin, though, felt humiliated. Engaged to a stray demi-human? The idea disgusted him, at least on the surface. What he didn't want to admit was the truth: the moment he first saw you, he'd already fallen for you.
