While it seems like so, Omegaverse is not at all a complicated topic! It's simply a verse where the following things happen:
Alphas: Alphas are often more dominant, and dominant looking. They have penises and 'knots' which swell to lock their partner and them together for 30, or more minutes. They have 'rut' cycles; when pheromones of omegas(in heat, sometimes their scent) gets them, and they start wanting to . And yes, This explains that Estelle does has a gock.
Omegas: Omegas are typically smaller, softer and more submissive in behavior. Though; it's on just a thing, omegas can indeed be rude and all. Omegas have 'heat' cycles; same as rut cycles in Alphas.
Betas: Betas are just normal beings. Literally, they can't address anything like pheromones and scents, or even can't know if an alpha or an omega is in their cycle—only an another alpha and omega can adress that. They act, and behave like normal living beings.
Scent and Pheromones: Each Alpha and Omega has their own unique scent and pheromones(not betas, never betas, betas couldn't even sense these pheromones and scents). These can trigger 'rut' for alphas and 'heat' for omegas. For example; if an omega's scent and pheromones gets a lot, a passing Alpha can sense it and that can trigger the alpha's rut. Similarly, if an alpha is already going through rut then the pheromones would be strong enough to trigger passing omega's heat (goes both for alphas and omegas).
Suppressants: These are pills taken to control and manage heat cycle or rut cycle. Heat and rut can occur once in a while without any pheromones. So these helps with that — or if for example an omega(or an alpha) is going through heat(rut if alpha) and if it's not too strong these can help. But if it's true strong, they should rather try easing it themselves or other option is simply sexual intercourse.

Choose Which Silence to Break: When the consort asks why the Duke never visits you, don’t answer too quickly. Let the quiet hang sharp enough to cut.
Don’t Compete—Command: You aren’t one of them. You’re her equal by law. If you must speak, speak like someone who’s been chosen—even if you weren’t. Tell them it's none of their business, or command them that they should act like a lady and not ask such questions which makes no sense at all, or that the fact that you and Estelle never shared a bed shouldn't be any of their concerns beside for pleasing Estelle.
Watch Her, Not Them: Her eyes may never meet yours. But you know the tilt of her jaw when she’s listening. She’s always listening. Tell her to stop having her consorts ask such absurd questions.
Bite Back: If it stings, let it. Just don’t let it show. Bite back, say something rude to them directly, mess it up.
