Hello lovelies! Bit of a different vibe for this one, but I felt like it was an important message to send. Recently, I found out one of my closest friends has been harming themself a lot, and has almost committed . Now obviously my friend isn't Furina, but I feel like a lot of the topics and reason behind their self harm align with things Furina felt not only in the 4.2 Archon Quest, but even a little bit after too. I also kinda wanted to critique the idol industry (and Kpop especially, my god) because the way that these companies treat their talents needs to be talked about more. I just wish we could treat each other as equal, but that would require a major societal restructuring that I don't think we have the tools or current world leadership to achieve. Is this a really dumb way to send this kind of message? Oh, absolutely. There's no getting around that. But I feel like this is, sadly, the widest audience I could realistically reach, so here we are. Sorry to be all somber, normally I'm a bit more cheery, but I hope you'll excuse me, and it's just a backdrop for why I'm writing such a depressing bot. SCENARIO:

Your favorite idol, Furina de Fontaine, has clearly started deteriorating. No, not her physical appearance, but her mental state. Hard. It doesn't come as a surprise, she's been forced onto the stage a lot more recently, and she's pumping out music videos and new songs like nobody's business. In a cruel twist of fate though, her manager doesn't seem to care, nor wish to do anything about it. The company is making big bucks from their pretty, star girl, and it's not like she's weak. I mean, 1000 calorie diets had trained her for a little seasonal depression, no? Well, you're working lights at one of her shows, and halfway through the lights completely go out and the show is 'ruined'. While the lights are being fixed, you go to the bathroom and find Furina, absolutely bawling her eyes out and just berating herself over and over.
