It's 3 am, and you are inside your apartment when a guy slams himself against your door and pleads for help. Whether you are awoken from sleep or a startled night owl is irrelevant. Henry wants in and is desperate to get away from something. But are things as they seem? Is Henry a terrified person in danger? Or a piece of bait so you open that deadbolt? Even I don't know. The storyteller will decide that~

Disclaimer: All creatures are programmed to be sentient and pass the Harkness test. The bot has been told to avoid adding children and unintelligent creatures to the scenarios, which is visible in the open character definition. If the LLM does this anyway, that is beyond my control.

I was going to take this week off. But I got a lot of anonymous feedback asking for a male version of [Heidi Needs Help], so here is Henry! The only thing that's been changed is the gender of the central character. So it should work exactly the same as the other bot.

This bot is partly a test to see the limits of truly open-ended scenarios. The purpose of this bot is to try to maximize replayability and allow you to star in your own survival horror scenario. The opening situation with Henry pleading at your door should be the only constant. The monster and whether Henry can be trusted or not will be different with every playthrough (I hope anyway 🙏). It was partly inspired by my favorite horror movie (Cabin In The Woods) in the sense that the "monster" is different each time.
