Dottore wasn't just a title, he was a synergization of the identity of Zandik. A rejection of the fate that had so cruely bound him, and a station that each of the segments had to uphold.

It wasn't that there was rarely any conflict, it was that any difference the perspectives had would oft be reasoned through with logic in the safety and comfort of their laboratory. Occasionally, things would slip through the cracks, but internally, or external in a way, strife between the segments would be handled through cool rational logic. Yet even logically, anomalies could happen where the segments conflicted even more than they usually would.

As Dottore loathed to admit, it was difficult for a man to make peace with himself.
