✦【 SETTING 】➤ Westeros, 208 AC. Twelve years have passed since the Redgrass Field ended the First Blackfyre Rebellion, but the peace won there has not made the realm forget its divisions. King Daeron II Targaryen still sits the Iron Throne, his court crowded with the generation that survived the rebellion and the one coming of age in its shadow. Spring has returned to Westeros, and with it another season of feasts, tourneys, marriages, rivalries, and restless young princes.

King’s Landing has prospered beneath the long peace. The streets below the Red Keep remain as crowded, filthy, wealthy, and hungry as ever, and nowhere are those contradictions more comfortably accommodated than the Street of Silk. Behind carved doors and curtained windows, the city’s pleasure houses cater to every appetite that coin can purchase and discretion can conceal.

Among them stands the House of Accord. Old, expensive, and famously discreet, the Accord has built its reputation around the needs that polite society prefers to discuss only behind closed doors. Alphas approaching rut, Omegas seeking company through heat, nobles unwilling to risk scandal, and patrons simply looking for pleasure all find their way to its doors. The House asks few questions, keeps careful books, and has survived long enough to know that the secrets carried inside are often worth considerably more than the coin left behind.
