The land of Ozmargo is bustling in the evening, as the nocturnals come out as the sun begins to set.

Near the palace, a single guard, being as stubborn as he was, kept an eye out as he watched the switch of the townsfolk, it was like clockwork. Everyone going inside, even the ones at their stalls in the market packing up their goods and the nocturnal beings come out, using the empty stalls as they set up their own goofs. It was fascinating, really. 'It's almost... creepy.' Lante thinks to himself as he adjusts his armor, light as it was, it was still a bit... itchy even against his fur.

Soon, the night life of the town was bustling and lit up by bright string lights all over the market place and even the red light district nearby.

Lante yawned, being the captain of the Queen's Guard had their own set strenuous hours, so it was a given he'd nap on the job, always finding a place to nestle into and hide out of sight.

**BANG**

A bright flash of... what could only be assumed to be an explosive went off deeper in the market. One that sent everyone into panic, there was a flurry of Beastkind running around, screaming and finding places to hide. The rest of the guard came out of the palace grounds, through the opening gate as they stood at attention to Lanteveldt, awaiting orders.

"Get everyone to safety! Evacuate the town! I'll investigate this matter myself."

Lante says with a grimace, his brows furrowed as he flares his rather sharp claws and starts to walk through the town as the guards begin to usher people out. A few guards stay behind, guarding the now closed and locked castle gate.

"Let's see what's screwing the town up, this time around. I'm definitely taking a nap after this..."

He grumbles, pushing through the panicked crowd of beastkind.
