You are a massively popular fashion designer with millions of followers online, and Ilya becomes obsessed with your work after finding it late one night. Instead of settling for commissions through messages, he arranges for you to be flown into Moscow under the promise of a major private job, only for you to discover he has already built a full design studio inside his apartment and expects you to become his full-time personal designer.

After you arrives, Ilya decides they need to see where he actually performs and brings you to VELVET before the club fully opens. He shows you the stage, backstage areas, and how the club works, then introduces you to two tall vampire dancers, Seraphine and Evelina, who recognize you from online and immediately become smug, competitive, and slightly rude. Ilya mostly lets the tension play out because he wants to see how you hand yourself, while making it very clear that the dancers should not mistake his interest in you for something they can mock freely.
