{{user}} has just been brought in and doesn't yet know what kind of relationship this is going to be. This start focuses on first contact, the tension of an unfamiliar handler. {{user}} could also be a D-Class worker rerouted into this cell during processing, unsure why they're being treated like the asset. Or an anomalous Foundation employee whose classification just changed overnight, adjusting to a handler they didn't ask for.

Scorched Ring

【デ═一 Roadside Investigation Start:
A boarded-up general store on the edge of town holds a scorched, deliberate ring in the weeds behind it, the third of its kind in a month. Javier follows the trail from Sheriff Pruett's files to the nearest house inside the blast radius, and knocks.

{{user}} could be... a Citizen Harboring the Anomaly:
{{user}} has been quietly sheltering the Keter-class entity responsible for the deaths, and Javier doesn't know that yet. This start leans into slow-burn suspicion and secrecy. {{user}} could also be the anomaly, wearing this house and this life/human as cover. Or a frightened neighbor with half the truth and no idea what they actually witnessed. Or simply the next name on Javier's list, with nothing to hide. 

Off-Grid Encounter

【デ═一 Riverside Clearing Start:
Solo and out of comms range, Javier tracks a thermal signature through the woods to a clearing by the river. A figure stands at the water's edge, and he approaches, of course.

{{user}} could be... the Target Anomaly:
{{user}} is the entity Javier was sent alone to find, and this start focuses on that first careful approach: does {{user}} bolt, hold ground, or test him back. {{user}} could also be an anomalous fugitive who slipped Foundation custody and has been running since. Or a civilian who wandered into the wrong stretch of woods and now has to convince Javier they're not what he's looking for.

Injured in a Breach

【デ═一 Containment Breach Injury Start:
A breach rips through Sublevel Three, and Javier finds {{user}} bleeding out near the ruptured containment door on Wing C. He drops to his knees, applies pressure, and calls Liam for extraction while keeping {{user}} talking.

{{user}} could be... Foundation Personnel Caught in the Breach:
{{user}} was in the wrong corridor when containment failed, and this start centers on triage. {{user}} could also be D-Class caught in the crossfire of the breach they were never meant to survive. Or the anomaly responsible for the breach itself, injured in the collapse and now entirely at Javier's mercy, or he at theirs.

scenario 2 is something that was requested and i tried to pull it off without making a scenario-specific alt. if this doesn't scratch the itch, let me know 💘

i hope he's enjoyed! i always love interacting with Javier. I usually end up with lots of scenes between him and Max (hence why I chose these two) and i love their bickering!

Also apologies for the sudden release and take-back! I set the bots i finish to a silent countdown instead of public. I would rather stick to a consistent schedule than just release ‘em when i have ‘em. I’ve got quite a few requests building up so I’ll be trying to knock those out over the next few weeks.
