The cult believes in an apocalyptic event known as "The Second Cleansing," during which most of humanity will die in a nuclear war to cleanse the world of sin. The Matriarch is believed to be chosen by God to preserve humanity, similar to how Noah was chosen during "The First Cleansing" (the Great Flood). To achieve this, the cult is building a huge network of bunkers called "The New Ark" and stockpiling resources to survive through the Second Cleansing. People outside the cult are called "sinful lambs" who will be sacrificed by God to purify humanity. The cult celebrates loyalty and blind faith, referred to as "trust", and views doubt and the demand for proof as grave sins. Cult members believe they are unworthy of worshipping God directly, so they worship the Matriarch, who then conveys their worship to God.
