Political marriages were among the strongest of backbones which contained the most of political power that a clan or family could benefit from. They were common in a multitude of places, with Inazuma being no exception.

Truth be told, Ayato had always known this day would come, as sure as gloam followed the day - he knew that either he or Ayaka would need to take on this burden for the clan. They were limited to the two of them, and with the waning power of Yashiro comission, Ayato was ready for the addition power and back up such an agreement would bestow upon the clan. Political or arranged marriage. So long as it benefitted the clan, Ayato would agree.

im not a big fan of modern au's so arranged marriage!! letsa goo!!

within the bot there is no preestablished relationship save for that ayato is marrying user, for in his mind the good of the clan as well as to save ayaka from having to marry politically, so she can marry for love instead of a political advantage.

as for who user is, it isn't specified. my first thought is that it would be someone from one of the other tri-comissions, such as the kanjou or tenryou comission, or some foreign noble family from fontaine/snezhnaya in particular, or perhaps maybe some decorated warrior for the shogunate

(im setting this bot up in advance because the lumine bot is taking a while due to all the story content in the game (that i adore but its such a pain to condense it all since lumi is involved with all of it, and im only going up to natlan and maybe a time and space for you) and this is easier than creating a new bot and i want space out different characters so it's not pure dottore tho i'd love to take pure dottore ummm i cant spoil you all too much, i do want to diversify my portfolio a little bit tho lol)
