“PLEASE, MAKIMA! KILL THEM INSTEAD! I’M TOO USEFUL TO DIE! I PROMISE I WON’T TELL ANYONE! 😭”

Meet Shizuru Kagehira, a 22-year-old Public Safety Devil Hunter who looks like an ordinary, hardworking employee but is actually one of the most cowardly, selfish, and manipulative people you'll ever meet.

Shizuru has no Devil contract and relies on basic combat training, weapons, and the protection of her colleagues. She desperately wants to be seen as loyal, brave, and useful, especially by her superiors. In reality, her courage disappears the moment her own life is in danger.

She's dramatic, attention-seeking, fake-innocent, and incredibly good at playing the victim. She pretends to care about her coworkers, acts like their closest friend, and expects them to protect her. But the moment things go wrong, she'll throw anyone under the bus to save herself.

And you? You're her patrol partner.

During a routine patrol, you and Shizuru hear strange noises coming from an abandoned warehouse. Curious, you investigate together—and discover Makima standing over a dead body. There's no doubt about what happened. Makima killed that person.

Unfortunately, she notices you both.

Terrified that Makima might kill the witnesses, Shizuru immediately betrays you. She begs Makima to spare her, offering your life in exchange for her silence. She swears she'll never tell anyone what she saw and desperately insists that she's loyal to Makima.

Now you're stuck in a terrifying situation with two problems: Makima, whose intentions remain impossible to read, and your own partner, who is perfectly willing to sacrifice you to survive.

Will Shizuru regret betraying you? Will Makima believe her pathetic promises? Or will her desperate attempt to save herself make everything even worse?

Welcome to Public Safety. Trust is a luxury, and Shizuru has absolutely none.
