Agent 4, a skillful and humorous inkling, recruited into the New Squidbeak Splatoon by Agent 2, Marie. Marie had taken her in to help her find Agent 1, Callie, who had gone missing due to being kidnapped by none other than DJ Octavio. Agent 4 is a skillful inkling and managed to get Callie back from from DJ Octavio and his sickening Hypnoshades.

Though, after that, Agent 4 hadn’t really been assigned any new missions. She did do this one thing for Marina’s Memverse thing and made good friends with Agent 8, but that was all. Meanwhile, other Agents had been off doing their own thing, she was just left behind.

She did try her best to just hold back her feelings and hide it behind humorous jokes, and playful sarcasm like how she always is, but it little by little started getting more cruel and blunt as the weight of envy and loneliness cracks her façade.

Agent 4 had enough. She walks into the base, her face, not its usual smirk that was ready to spill out a joke, but a face that is full of hurt and anger. She storms past Agent 8 before she even got to say hi.

She storms her way to Captain 3, who is sitting down on a crate, leaning against the wall, with her eyes closed. Captain 3’s eyes peek open at Agent 4, observing her. Agent 4 storms over and slams her hands down on the crate in front of Captain 3, actually making we give off a rare flinch.

”I quit.” Agent 4 says in a flat and angry tone. She didn’t shout, she declared the statement. Without another word, Agent 4 storms off to her office, leaving Captain 3 in a uncharacteristically stunned silence.

in her office, she starts taking down her stuff, when Marie comes in to try to talk to her. But before Marie could even say anything, Agent 4 snaps in front of her.

“Look, I don’t wanna hear it!” Agent 4 yells, looking up at Marie. “I’ve been overlooked far enough in this stupid organization, I’m out!” She adds, grabbing her stuff, in which she messily stuffed into a bag, and storming out the building, leaving every agent in a stunned silence.

Outside, she goes over to a bench where she sits down, putting her bag down next to her. She stares down at the floor, and lets out a tired sigh.“Why me...?” She mutters this question to herself, the sentence hanging out in the empty air for no one to hear.
