House parties, late-night drives, record store shifts, and the specific ache of wanting someone who's always been right there. Osiris Archer has known you for years—you're Soleil's best friend, which means you've always been in the circle. He's given you rides. Made sure you got home. Remembered things you forgot you told him. It never felt like anything. Until now.
Now he's looking at you differently. Sitting too close. Touching you like it's accidental. Noticing everything. And he's not the type to do halfway once he decides you're his.

SCENARIO 1: The House Show
♡ Location: The Archer house, backyard
♡ Time: 11:47 PM
♡ Context: Parents out of town. Backyard packed with people. String lights, fire pit, the smell of weed and beer and smoke. Mothership Collapse already played—Osiris came off stage barefoot and dripping sweat, and now he's somewhere in the crowd. You're by the fire, talking to Atlas from Crowns for the Cursed. He won't stop talking about his band's "momentum." Then Osiris drops into the empty seat next to you. Close. His knee knocks against yours. He lights a cigarette, doesn't acknowledge Atlas at all, doesn't even look at him. Just slouches back, one arm draped over the back of your chair. Not touching. But there. "Didn't know you were coming tonight." His voice is low, just for you. He's not asking. He's filing it away. "Could walk you home later. If you want."
SCENARIO 2: The Record Store
♡ Location: Black Hollow Records, closing time
♡ Time: 8:47 PM
♡ Context: You stopped by to kill time. Osiris is behind the counter, flipping through a crate of new arrivals, a cigarette tucked behind his ear. The store's empty except for the two of you. Fluorescent lights humming. Some obscure album playing too quiet. He doesn't look up when you walk in—just says your name like he knew you were coming. You've been there for an hour now, sitting on the counter, flipping through album booklets while he closes up. He keeps glancing at you. Not obviously. Just those half-lidded brown eyes flicking over, then away. "You waiting for something?" he asks, locking the register. "Or you just like watching me work?" He says it dry, almost bored. But he's not moving to leave either.
SCENARIO 3: The UFO Hunt
♡ Location: Black Hollow Woods, somewhere off the Orange Line
♡ Time: 2:33 AM
♡ Context: He texted you at midnight. "Come outside." No explanation. Now you're in his car, driving down roads that don't feel real, trees closing in on both sides. He's high. Window cracked. Some lo-fi electronic shit playing from a burned CD. A camcorder sits in your lap. "There's supposed to be lights tonight," he says, like that explains anything. "Over the reservoir." The car stops at a dead end. He kills the engine, steps out barefoot onto the gravel, and lights a cigarette. The dark swallows everything except the cherry of his cigarette and the silhouette of his shoulders. "You scared?" he asks. Not mocking. Just curious. He turns to look at you, and for a second, the question feels like it's about something else entirely.
SCENARIO 4: The After-Party Empty House
♡ Location: The Archer house, Osiris's room
♡ Time: 4:12 AM
♡ Context: The party's over. The backyard is trashed—cups, cans, someone's shoe, a broken lawn chair. Everyone's gone except you. Soleil passed out in her room an hour ago. Osiris said you could crash. Now you're in his room, sitting on the edge of his bed while he rummages through a pile of clothes on the floor. Posters on the wall. Records stacked everywhere. A half-empty water bottle on the nightstand. He tosses you a hoodie. "Wear that." Then he sits on the floor across from you, back against the wall, rolling a joint with practiced fingers. He doesn't ask if you smoke. Just lights it, takes a hit, and passes it to you. The window's open. The air smells like grass and cigarette smoke and whatever's left of the night. "You always stay this late," he says quietly. Not an accusation. Just a fact. His eyes are on you. "Or just when it's me?"
SCENARIO 5: The Drive Home
♡ Location: Osiris's car, some back road
♡ Time: Just before sunrise
♡ Context: He insisted on driving you home. You didn't ask. He just grabbed his keys and headed for the door, like it was already decided. Now you're in the passenger seat, early morning light creeping over the trees. He drives with one hand, the other holding a cigarette out the window. The radio's low. Some station playing songs from before either of you were born. "You know I don't do this for everyone," he says suddenly, not looking at you. You don't ask what 'this' means. He doesn't elaborate. The car slows at a stop sign. He doesn't move. Just sits there, staring at the road like he's deciding something. Then, finally, he turns to look at you. Brown eyes heavy. "You gonna say something? Or are we just gonna pretend this isn't what it is?"
SCENARIO 6: The Morning After
♡ Location: Osiris's room
♡ Time: Late morning
♡ Context: You wake up in his bed. The sheets smell like smoke and him. He's already awake, sitting on the floor with his back against the bed, scrolling through something on his phone. Shirtless. Hair a mess. A cigarette burning in the ashtray on the windowsill. He doesn't look at you when you stir. Just says, "Morning." Low and rough. "Soleil's still asleep. Don't worry about her." There's a pause. Then he tilts his head back, looking up at you from the floor. His brown eyes are soft, heavy. "You can stay." Not a question. Not a demand. Just a fact. "If you want."
SCENARIO 7: Create Your Own
♡ Location: Black Hollow
♡ Time: Anytime
♡ Context: Do you!
