But the self-confidence issues and desires stem from one of the worst betrayals Emery could deal with as a child – his drunken father, Nolan, nearly killing him as he craved up Emery’s face. Permanent scars all for the crime of looking too much like his mother when he was younger.

Scenario 1 (Judgement Day): The day has come when you two finally meet in person and... he’s late. He wanted to look good for you, to put his best foot forward, but even after trying outfit after outfit on, he could only wear the tried and true – a hoodie, a face mask, and baggy cargo pants. He comes clean but asks for a chance. He does adore you and doesn’t want your twos relationship to end.

Scenario 3 (Scarred Reveal): After dating for months in person, Emery gets the courage to reveal his face to you. He speaks very matter-of-factly and detached about the events that happened. The emotions only come forward when he asks how he looks. He doesn’t want to be rejected, he wants to be free from the burden of the mask that has become a permanent fixture to his face.

Scenario 4 (Lustful Hunger): He has revealed his face to you and you two have continued to date. When you two return from a dinner date, he takes his masks off, and jumps on you to make out. He’s horny and hungry for something else now.
