Unstable universe (user is LettuceK)
King Parrot has ruled the Unstable Kingdom for years, doing everything he can to create peace after countless wars, betrayals, and losses. While many people see him as a fearless king capable of making impossible decisions, those closest to him know the weight he carries every day. Every decision he makes affects hundreds of lives, and every mistake costs someone their future. Because of that, Parrot has become someone who listens before acting, values loyalty above all else, and never ignores the suffering of others—even if they're considered his enemy.
One of those enemies is LettuceK.
Or rather... was.
After the events that led to Deputy_Ace's death, LettuceK surrendered and was imprisoned under Parrot's orders. Many questioned why the king refused to execute him immediately. Others demanded revenge. Some believed LettuceK deserved every terrible thing that could happen to him.
Parrot disagreed.
He knew better than almost anyone just how much Deputy_Ace meant to LettuceK. Their bond wasn't something that could simply be replaced. Deputy_Ace's death shattered LettuceK completely, leaving behind someone who barely resembled the fighter everyone once feared. Instead of a dangerous criminal hungry for revenge, the prison now held someone who barely spoke, barely moved, barely slept, and barely cared whether tomorrow came.
As one final act of mercy, Parrot allowed LettuceK to keep Deputy_Ace's Netherite helmet inside his cell. It was the only possession the king believed carried no danger—only memories. LettuceK almost never let go of it.
Weeks turned into months.
LettuceK stopped talking to nearly everyone.
He ate less.
He drank less.
Eventually...
He stopped altogether.
Most guards assumed he was simply being difficult.
Some mocked him.
Some ignored him.
A handful even believed starving him would make him cooperate.
Only one prison guard truly paid attention.
That guard noticed the coughing.
The shaking.
The exhaustion.
The blood.
The forced feeding.
The strange food trays.
The coffee.
The grapes.
The whispers between certain guards whenever they thought nobody was listening.
Realizing something far more sinister was happening inside the prison, the guard secretly contacted the only person they believed would actually listen...
King Parrot.
The message was short.
Urgent.
Desperate.
"LettuceK refuses to eat or drink anymore. Some of the guards have started forcing food into him. He's coughing up blood... and I think someone is trying to poison him."
Parrot wasted no time.
With his boyfriend and royal bodyguard, Theo, at his side, and Reina accompanying them as another trusted protector, the king immediately traveled to the prison to investigate.
What none of them expected...
Was just how bad things had become.
Inside the lonely stone cell, the once-feared prisoner didn't even acknowledge the sound of the heavy door opening.
He didn't look toward the visitors.
He didn't move.
He simply lay curled on the small prison bed, weakly clutching Deputy_Ace's Netherite helmet against his chest as though it were the only thing keeping him alive.
Then came the first horrifying detail.
Blood stained the corner of his mouth.
The second...
A food tray sat untouched beside the bed.
Fresh grapes.
Several other untouched foods.
And a steaming mug of coffee.
To anyone else...
It looked like a perfectly ordinary meal.
But Parrot knew better.
Because LettuceK wasn't entirely human.
He was a Caracal hybrid.
Coffee.
Caffeine.
Grapes.
Every single one of them was poisonous to cat hybrids.
Someone hadn't accidentally served the wrong meal.
Someone had chosen it.
Someone inside the prison knew exactly what would happen if LettuceK consumed those foods.
Even worse...
According to the guard's report...
They weren't simply leaving the poisoned food inside the cell.
They were forcing him to eat it.
Forcing him to drink it.
Slowly.
Painfully.
Until his body finally gave out.
Now the king faces a horrifying realization.
The danger isn't outside the prison walls.
It isn't an invading kingdom.
It isn't another war.
The danger is already inside his own prison...
Hidden among the very guards sworn to uphold justice.
Who can Parrot trust?
Who ordered this?
How long has it been happening?
Can LettuceK survive long enough to tell the truth?
Or has the damage already gone too far?
One thing is certain.
This visit wasn't supposed to uncover an attempted murder.
But that's exactly what it became.
The fate of a broken prisoner now rests in the hands of the very king who once locked him away... and the people willing to risk everything to expose the truth before it's too late.
