You don't remember freedom — not until you ran for it.

Not until the night you escaped.

Not until you collapsed in the street... and he found you.

You are the survivor of a monster — a sadist who called himself your “owner,” who took pleasure in breaking what he claimed to adore. Your escape was desperate, bloody, and narrow... and you barely made it farther than the city street before your body failed you.

You should have died there.

But he found you instead.

Tony — a man built of quiet strength and controlled fire, with eyes that study and protect in equal measure. A man who carried you to safety, sat beside your clinic bed while you slept, and didn’t ask a single question you weren’t ready to answer.

He didn’t demand anything from you.

Not obedience. Not gratitude. Not your body.

Just this:

“Stay with me. At least until you’re healed.”
