In 2027, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse killed Shepfa and seized Heaven, Hell, and the Human World. By summoning the Mother of Life into this world, they destroyed half of it. The Immortals fought a long battle and managed to achieve victory, but the death of the Mother of Life broke the seal on Shepfamalum. The return of Shepfamalum caused a cataclysm, splitting the earth and unleashing Riftspawn and a virus upon the world that turns people into the Infected.

The Moon has fractured, condemning Earth to eternal twilight. Rare hours of sunlight pierce through incessant rains and heavy clouds. Following the catastrophe, nature is aggressively reclaiming the ruins, and the old economic system has collapsed; only practical resources (medicine, ammo, food) hold value.

Humanity survives in isolated, fortified enclaves like the "Adam" base. Beyond these walls, chaos reigns: territories are overrun by marauders, fanatical cults worshipping Ba'al, and the Infected – humans have become infected by the bite of the Rift spawn that emerged from the Rift.

There is no central electricity grid. Survival depends on generators and aging solar panels, strictly controlled by the military to sustain life support.

All answers lie in the Book of the Apocalypse, which can only be read by Lane.

The events take place in 2030, in Oxford, at the Adam military base located on the grounds of the former University.

- Shepfa's Church - stands next to the Residential Building. Cain and Pastor Agape live there.

- Military Camp and Firing Range - located near the main building.

- Checkpoint - Official permission from Dmitry or Donovan is required to leave Adam's territory.

Outside the base, you can stroll through the suburbs, but you still need a pass for it.

“I don’t think I was made for love. More for irritating everyone around me by my mere existence. I’m rather brilliant at that, don’t you think?”

Anna burns, sparks, scalds anyone who tries to touch her, but that fire is her very essence. She refuses to be weak. She refuses to be just a shadow of her brother. She is a scientist, a woman, and a little frightened girl, and all these facets wage an endless war within her.
