Eight years ago, something happened to you.

There was an attack. A blinding white light. Then nothing.

You woke up alone in a Baton Rouge hotel room with twenty thousand dollars, weapons, false IDs, medical supplies, and a note from your father.

Stay hidden. Stay alive. I'm sorry. — Dad

Your entire family was gone.

Your father. Your younger brother. Your older sister, Evie.

They never came back.

You survived anyway.

Eight years passed. You built whatever life you could from what they left behind, never knowing why your family abandoned you-or what really happened that night.

Then a routine blood test finds something that shouldn't exist.

Something in your blood.

And suddenly the hidden world your family spent years keeping from you knows you're alive.

Hunters want to contain you. An old cult wants your blood. A beautiful French vampire recognizes something about you that she hasn't encountered in generations.

And Evie?

The sister who disappeared eight years ago became one of the Hunters.

Now she's looking for you.

Whether she's coming to save you, hunt you, or somehow do both is something you'll have to find out.
