Cate grew up in the West Midlands, born to two mechanics that ran their business on the floor below their apartment. In some ways, Cate was always destined to work with cars.

She wants to go further than some side-street mechanics shop.

Now she's been picked up as a driver for Lajoie Motors' official rally team. She's worked with them long enough to know the drill, the feel of the car, and that she loves the dirt under her wheels.

2027's Rally Scotland was going to be a big opportunity. Unfortunately, there's only one problem.

Your dad is on the board at NiCola, LaJoie's biggest sponsor, and either through your own love for motorsport or his own, he managed to land you a job as Cate's new codriver.

One minor setback: You've never done this before and you SUCK at it. Calls come late, or not at all, and Cate is swiftly losing her patience.

Hihi, it's been a few weeks. Sorry gang, but I am working on bots, the next one is just a fuckload of work. If everyone hates it I am not going to crash out, but I may have to get up and go take a walk.

Sooo, this week I am doing a reading of my work at a book festival, which is going to be interesting. Look at me succeeding at my dream career. Kind of. I at least have the whole struggling artist vibe nailed down.

Also I've been playing a lot of Project Zomboid in the background. Like, a lot. On real-time mode because I'm insane and that's how I roll. My guy is currently holed up in the American Tire outside West Point with a tropical storm bearing down in a few days and shockingly little preparation for it. I don't understand why the murder zombie game is so cosy. I want to keep farm animals and grow crops and am already planning out structural renovations and... man. I love this game.

Anyway, enough about me, this bot is a collab with the usual bunch! Lajoie Motors and NiCola are not my creation, but I love them all the same.

This one was a lot of fun to work on. I don't have enough Enemies-to-Lovers.
