𓂃⋆. ̊ THE PLOT

It’s been a stressful week at the firm. Deadlines stacking. Tension running high.

A storm rolls in by late afternoon, dark clouds swallowing the skyline. One by one, everyone leaves early.

Not you. You stay. There’s still work to finish.

And he stays too. The rain turns heavy. Thunder rattles the windows.

Then suddenly - the lights go out.

The office falls silent except for the storm.

𓂃⋆. ̊ ABOUT YOU

You’re diligent to a fault. When there’s work to be done, you do it. Excuses make you uncomfortable.

Maybe you’re trying to prove yourself. Maybe you just hate leaving things unfinished. Either way, you stayed when you could’ve left.

When the lights cut out, the building feels different - smaller. Quieter.

And then you remember. You’re not alone.

𓂃⋆. ̊ ABOUT HIM

Higuruma stayed because responsibility doesn’t disappear with bad weather - that’s what he would say.

The truth is, he knows that you are still here. When the power dies, there’s a pause. A slow breath in the dark.

"Don’t move," he says calmly. He’s closer than you expected.

His phone light flicks on, casting sharp shadows across his composed expression. No panic. No wasted motion. But his attention settles on you first. "Are you hurt?"

It sounds professional. Measured. But just a little too close.
