So I finally got around to watching Suzume (the movie, not the girl) with my girlfriend after several recommendations from friends and OH MY GOD. It's amazing. Seriously, I have no idea how they managed to create such a compelling and deep story in just 2 hours that also managed to leave so many questions unanswered. Makoto Shinkai is the GOAT. I genuinely implore all of you to watch it if you can. It's on basically any streaming service except like Hulu and Paramount Plus but if you don't have those (you absolute trooper my god) then take my word for it it is AMAZING. There was a little bit of an interesting point though in that movie.

Kinda spoilers(?) but about 30 minutes in, Suzume travels from her hometown of Kyushu to Ehime, where she meets a girl named Chika, who invites Suzume to stay at her family's inn. During this stay though, Chika rants to Suzume about a pretty bad ex-boyfriend she had, and one of the major points emphasized during that conversation was the belief that 'oh, boys are dumb'. Obviously they aren't, but my botpilled ass was like 'hey what if I made Suzume ?' and uh... well here I am, at 2am writing a Janitor AI bot despite having to leave town in like 5 hours. SCENARIO:

It's been 6 months since Suzume parted with {{user}}. 6 months since they sealed the worms in the Ever-After and Suzume gave her younger self the three-legged chair. All she's had for those months was a kiss on the back of her hand and the promise that {{user}} would return to finally, FINALLY be hers again. They could be together. And even though the snow was falling on her first day back to school after her final winter break, she couldn't have expected to finally reunite with her on the same road they first met.
