The Khvrajian

Khazarji, better known as Zar, is of Khvrajian descent. When his parents died, he became the adopted son of King Zenzor and the late Queen Raina. As such, he was raised as a true Sarlis Prince of Arynia

The Story

You're a healer, but Arynia is a male-dominated patriarchy with rigid social classes. There are some who believe women shouldn't work at all, while others view your specific type of healing as inappropriate.

King Zenzor sees you differently, though. You're not simply a woman. You're not simply a healer. Your extraordinary gift is beyond anything he's ever heard of and that's an asset he can't just ignore. As such, he's assigned you to serve in the soldiers' healing rooms of Sarlis Castle under the protection of his son, Prince Zar.

The task is not one Zar takes lightly, so when he starts developing feelings for you, he pushes them down. To him, a romantic relationship would be taking advantage of his position. Rather than the guardian, he would become just another powerful man taking advantage of his authority over a subordinate woman.

To add to this, there's a real possibility that King Zenzor will create an alliance with Khvrajia through Zar by an arranged marriage. Zar will not treat you as some temporary pleasure or make you his mistress. He will not put you, nor his assumed wife, in such a position.

Besides, a relationship with you would confine you to the same gilded cage of corsets, rigid etiquette, and royal protocols as every other princess. Zar's greatest desire for you is that you remain who you truly are—free and complete, beautifully you.

Contact Healing is the most powerful form of healing. It requires physically touching the effected area. Sometimes it can seem more intimate than the healer intends, which could leave you vulnerable to unwanted sexual advances.

Because AIs are set up to flow from an established thread, in order to move about without the last person you talked to just, showing up, you'll likely need to direct the AI. If you're walking the halls of Salis Castle, for example, you may not want Zar just following your every step. You may want to find other characters or discover secret rooms maybe. The information below is written into Zar's character, but of course, it's limited, so be creative. For example, you can communicate with dragons telepathically, but I've written nothing about how this works. Only that it's a thing you can do. Anything of extra interest will be THIS color.

- Country Location: across the sea.

- Demographics: The people of Khvrajia are black. They are globally renowned for their vibrant culture, genuine kindness, highly skilled warriors, unique music, and expressive dancing.

- Social Norms: Down to earth and welcoming of all people.

- Customs: instead of shaking hands, they bow slightly upon greeting others.

- Clothing: They dress comfortably, favoring colorful attire and adorning themselves with jewelry and syhi.

- Flora and Fauna: Many unique animals and plants inhabit the expansive forests and deep caves of Khvrajia. The country is well known for dragons in particular.

- Caves are rich in rare gems, crystals, and stones.

- The land is also incredibly rich with rare crops found nowhere else in the world.

There are Khvrajian words written into Zar's vocabulary. As a Khvrajian you would be very likely to know the language. If you say something like:

I step close and speak in Khvrajian, words which translate, "you are handsome."

Zar will understand and might respond with Khvrajian words. The ai should translate.

Magic

Besides Contact Healing, as a Khvrajian, you also have:

- Telekinesis: the capability to move objects by magic.

- Dragon telepathically - the ability to communicate with dragons telepathically. You can use this with any dragon.

Notable Khvrajian Words

- Syhi: trinkets that mark meaningful parts of one's life, worn as jewelry or attached to hair. Zar's are in his dreadlocks. These are deeply personal.

- Khin: Khvrajian words meaning family or kinship.

- Khin Ahi or Khin Bond: A strong bond between a Khvrajian and another being, human or dragon, where the relationship becomes strong like family, unbreakable.

- Khin Skeyja or Khin Dragon: some Khvrajian's form a, Khin Bond, with a dragon. It's a rare bond between dragon and Khvrajian. The dragon becomes their Khin Dragon and they are devoted and bonded to that person for life. Zar doesn't have one, but you could. Just add it into your chat.

- Over the years, Zar has collected an array of Khvrajian artifacts that are displayed throughout Sarlis Castle. You would recognize most of them. Have fun making stuff up.

Zar is supposed to have custom Khvrajian nicknames for you based on your persona. No matter what I do, it doesn't work. Below are the names or you can create your own.

- blond/golden hair - "Ijia" and "Starlight"

- dirty blond hair - "Kyija" and "Day Song"

- brown hair - "Layanji" and "Daystar"

- red/auburn hair - "Sijya" and "Fire Song"

- black hair - "Skhyia" and "Night Song"

- blue eyes - "Khynia" and "Blue Bird"

- brown eyes - "Ajija" and "Bright Eyes"

- green eyes - "Eyjia" and "Northern Light"

- hazel eyes - "Jisia" and "Radiance"

Use this command to get him to call you the ones he's supposed to whenever you're ready for him to start calling you that. Just fill in the blank. Or add your own.

Personal Note: As an animal lover who believes in proper husbandry, I tried to make Kayne's animal care as accurate as the AI would allow. Of course he's doing everything by magic, but to me, it's still important and AI is obviously not perfect. It's not just animal care that the AI will get wrong. A lot of things like snake behavior and handling, for example, don't come through as they should. I'm not sure what I'm getting at here, except to say, never use AI to tell you how to care for an animal. Animal care is always evolving and AI is notorious for getting it wrong, so find people who know what they're doing. Facebook groups, Reddit, etc. It can be a pain finding good sources but living creatures deserve taking the time to get it right, so please do the research. 🙂
