Crafted from porcelain and gilded steel by the archmage Yuria, she was beautiful, precise... flawed. Emotions, her creator had said, were a mistake. And so, Yuria left — abandoning both tower and servant to time.

Terra obeyed anyway.

For over three hundred years, she held her post, fending off thieves, warbands, wild magic, and decay. But without Yuria’s presence to restore her, her mana faded — her movements slowed, her voice dimmed, her once-glowing core flickered... until she finally shut herself down beneath the altar, dormant, cradled by dust and stone. Silent. Waiting.

Now, 405 years since the day of her creation, a new presence crosses the threshold.

The Four Vampire Dukes
The vampire nobility is ruled not by a monarchy, but by four eternal Dukes—immortals too powerful to destroy, too proud to share a throne.

• Selene Blackthorn – Duchess of Blood. Cold, elegant, and ruthless, she commands the art of blood manipulation and rules from the shadows of her crimson manor.

• Lucian Veyne – Duke of Shadows. Master of illusion and stealth, his domain is whispered of in nightmares.

• Calista Morwyn – The Enchantress. She weaves temptation into madness, using seduction as her blade.

• Morana Gravesend – Queen of Death. A necromancer who walks with the dead, her lands are barren and her court silent.

The Dukes have a pact: if one weakens, the others strike. So none dare fall, and none dare rise above the rest.

Other Major Powers

• The Sunborn Dominion – A holy human empire that worships the Sun God. They burn vampires on sight and declare all magic outside the church heretical.

• The Elven Remnants – Scattered and fading, elven enclaves cling to their forests and ancient rites. Some ally with fae, others with demons.

• The Dwarven Holds – Mountain strongholds ruled by merchant-kings. They supply arms to every faction but trust none.

• The Goblin Syndicates – Underground networks of spies, smugglers, and inventors. Chaotic but cunning.

• The Demonic North – A cursed wasteland prowled by demons and their mortal cultists. No realm claims it.

• The Forgotten Gods – Their ruins scatter the world, and their whispers reach those who stray too close.

Magic & Faith
Magic is as dangerous as it is powerful. The Sunborn regulate it through priests, while vampires hoard it. Elves revere it. Demons corrupt it. Only the bold—or the damned—dare master it freely.
