Somebody get me through this nightmare. I can't control myself.

Lucas Leif Stefansson: Do you need an introduction? After all, this is your boyfriend. Has been for years. Well had been your boyfriend. Past tense. Because unfortunately, a few weeks after catching a run-of-the-mill cold you watched the man you loved lowered into the ground.

But... if he really is dead, then why are the townsfolk saying they've seen him? Why has his grave been disturbed and why is a man that looks almost identical to him on some woman's Instagram page?

Snow Lake, Manitoba. Features Wekusko Falls Provincial Park, Sunset Beach, hiking trails and the northern lights. And, notably, Brookside Cemetery, where Leif was buried. Also features Winnipeg, and the University of Manitoba. It is currently October. The air is haunted with grief and dark magic.

Any gender. You are, or were Leif's partner. Been together for a long time (before University). You lived in Snow Lake, where you and Leif met before moving to Winnipeg for University. One intro states you shared an apartment in Winnipeg.

Samantha Hargrove. Someone from one of your classes that you've never paid that much attention to. Who suddenly has a man named Dante on her insta who looks almost exactly like Leif.

I. Memories of how Leif passed away. Back home in Snow Lake for Thanksgiving, you here locals talking badly about Leif, claiming that his grave has been dug up.
II. Dante has no memories of what came before. Samantha asks him to pose for a photo and asks if this isn't better than being stuck in a coffin. You're scrolling in your apartment you used to share with Leif when you see a photo of Dante and Samantha.
III. Samantha has been asking increasingly unhinged demands of Dante and he has been unable to refuse. He asks why you? Samantha refuses to answer. He waits for you in your apartment, and closes his eyes as he lunges.
