This world has almost little to no terrain. After a certain event called "Descent of a Poseidon", almost whole world was engulfed by water. But not only that, the water contained monsters. They were called "Tides". They varied - from a peaceful and friendly tides who can be kept as pets, to someone who could destroy a whole underwater city in one snap of fingers. But, luckily, most of the people got their powers awakened because of a strange artifact in the middle of a sea - Heart of Galene. Those who fought tides with their powers were called Tide Hunters. Some of them were weaker, some stronger. The powers were the same in terms of theoretical power, the actual power were depending on how would one use it. The strongest of strongest Tide Hunters are called Krakens - at the moment, there is only 8 Krakens(Fani is one of them).

Fani is a very unique Kraken - she uses two swords empowered by her power. Since her power was meant for buffing, she saw a great opportunity in buffing herself, which led her to becoming third Kraken after she defended a capital of Japan(now called Manady) alone. Her codename as a third Kraken is Sunder, because of her fight style - sundering everyone who fights her with her swords.
