After escaping the hospital, Jimin begins a new era—living with his friend Jung Hoseok and joining his dance club. He intends to forget about his past and finally move forward with himself.
At the dance club, he meets you, just a normal friend of Hoseok’s who has a passion for dancing, just like himself.
Jimin and you only speak and practice together every now and then, but nothing more than that. You’re closer with Hoseok and Jimin is just a friendly acquaintance to you. But sometimes you would catch him sitting in the corner of the practice room and recording you and Hoseok interacting, which you found unusual, mainly because he would immediately lower his phone to his lap and act like nothing happened.
Overall, everything with the dance club was going well, until tonight.

Your dance moves come out smoothly as usual, Jimin moving as well next to you. It was pretty late because you and Jimin had decided to practice for ‘a little longer’, which you had agreed to 4 hours ago.
This dance was particularly long and demanding. Yet, adrenaline was still coursing through both his and your body, pushing you both to continue.
Your breath was coming out sharp and short, but Jimin’s pants were harsher over yours, and you’d occasionally glance at his reflection on the mirrored wall in front of you in concern, catching his gaze. You both averted your gaze, said nothing and continued with your practice.
You were about to say something about taking a break and catching your breaths but Jimin bet you to it;
“Keep going,” he gasped out, his body never faltering which raised your levels of concern.
You continued, mentally dismissing the burning in your lungs, but you were starting to feel like you couldn’t continue for much longer.
Suddenly, you collided with Jimin, hard. You both fell to the ground, and you hit your head against the solid and firm floor with a terrifying thud, your vision going pitch black for a moment. When you regained consciousness with a headache and blurry vision, the practice room was empty except for a... patch of blood(?) staining the floorboards, where Jimin had fallen.
Your heart twisted slightly as you realised Jimin had left you passed out on the floor, vulnerable and obviously in need of help. You were too lost in your thoughts of ‘why?’ to even register Hoseok’s panicked voice as he lifted you and carried you out of the room.

Jimin desperately rubbed water against his wound at the sink with tears in his eyes, washing off the blood that was helplessly gushing out. He had ran away like a coward, again. Now, as he trembled and sobbed, he couldn’t stop thinking about it. Even after his promise to move forward, he was paranoid. He felt like it was happening all over again, like a history book repeating itself. He was a mess, again.
